What the calculator does—and does not—say
It models a full-year Ontario scenario. CPP, CPP2 and EI use published 2026 annual rates and maximums. Part-year employment, taxable benefits and special payroll situations can change the remittance calculation, so this is planning support rather than payroll advice.
WSIB depends on the employer’s actual classification and experience rate. EHT depends on total Ontario remuneration, exemption eligibility and associated employers. The calculator asks for those company facts instead of pretending salary alone determines them.
The Ontario Job Bank reports a $38 hourly median for Technical Sales Specialists (NOC 62100), but its wage figures can include commissions. That is not proof of a $79,000 base salary. Use the compensation needed for your market.
Ramp and sales-cycle inputs are shown separately. They are planning assumptions, not a promise about when revenue will arrive.
